How it works

How fees work in EduPro

Step 1

Create fee structures

Name each fee (tuition, materials, exam fee) and set the amount once.

Step 2

Assign with a due date

Assign a structure to a grade or batch. Each student gets their own fee record, and parents are notified.

Step 3

Record and verify payments

Record cash or partial payments with a receipt number, or approve the payment proof a parent uploaded. Parents are told when a payment is confirmed.

Why institutes use it

Less chasing, fewer mistakes

Every student’s balance

Pending, partial, paid, overdue and waived, per student and per fee.

Partial payments

Record what was paid today. The remaining balance stays on the student’s record.

Receipts on record

Each payment carries a receipt number that parents can see in the app.

Payment proof from parents

Parents upload a photo of their transfer receipt; you approve or reject it.

FAQ

Fee management: common questions

Can parents pay online through EduPro?

Parents pay you the way they do today, for example by bank transfer, then upload proof of payment in the app for you to verify. EduPro does not process card payments itself.

Can we waive a fee for one student?

Yes. Mark that student’s fee as waived and it no longer counts as outstanding.

Do parents get notified?

Yes. Parents get an alert when a new fee is assigned to their child and when a payment is recorded or confirmed.

Can we see who is overdue?

Yes. Fees past their due date show as overdue, so you can see who to follow up with.
